Dr Claire Gilbert will give a talk on Julian of Norwich.
Until recently Dr Gilbert was Director of the Westminster Abbey Institute. Last year she wrote a book on Julian of Norwich (“I, Julian”) a fictional autobiography of the fourteenth century Mystic, “one of the medieval world’s most important women”. This talk has been arranged by the Nurture Committee of the Kirk Session.
